Commercial Pilot
About the Program
If you want to be paid to fly in any capacity, a commercial pilot certificate is required. A pilot must obtain ratings for each category and class of airplane they wish to be paid to operate.
Prerequisites
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate
CHECKRIDE COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS
- 120 Hours Total Time
- 10 Hours of Complex Time
- Choice of Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) or Multi-Engine

Commercial Pilot Rating
Multi-Engine Land
This add on trains you to qualify as a pilot-in-command (PIC) of any aircraft with more than one engine. It is a highly sought after pilot certification add-on for aspiring pilots to increase their overall value in the aviation workforce.
Multi-Engine Add-On Prerequisites
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate or a Commercial Single-Engine Land (CSEL) for the Add-On
CHECKRIDE COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS
- 15 fight hours and 6 grounds hours
- Demonstrate proficiency in single-engine operations
- No written required if already completed the CSEL
